In late 2021, CHEO reached out to UK Pods, setting the stage for a groundbreaking partnership. By 2022, Palkesh’s initial trial visit was nothing short of a success—sparking a rapid expansion of the program across the entire site and community. The momentum didn’t stop there: interest surged in 2023, and Palkesh has returned to Canada four times since to collaborate with local teams. Today, 25 locations nationwide are benefiting from Safety Pods,with expansion showing no signs of slowing down.
